The CNA program combines classroom and clinical experience to prepare the student for a career in Nurse Assisting. Students successfully completing this course will be prepared to take the State Certification Exam.
The EMT program is a 164 hour course that will prepare the student for certification as an EMT in California. The course includes ambulance patient evaluation and treatment.
American Red Cross curriculum. Students who successfully pass this class will receive both BLS/CPR and First Aid cards good for two years.
This class qualifies students to sit for the American Academy of Professional Coders (AAPC) – Certified Professional Coder Exam (CPC or CPC-H Apprentice); the American Health Information Association (AHIMA) Certified Coding Associate (CCA) exam; and/or other National Certification Exams.
The EKG Technician Certification Program prepares students to function as EKG Technicians and to take the ASPT – Electrocardiograph (EKG) Technician exam and other National Certification Exams
This program prepares students to understand and use electronic records in a medical practice
