The CNA program combines classroom and clinical experience to prepare the student for a career in Nurse Assisting. Students successfully completing this course will be prepared to take the State Certification Exam.
The EMT program is a 164 hour course that will prepare the student for certification as an EMT in California. The course includes ambulance patient evaluation and treatment.

In this intermediate class, students will learn how to maintain accounting records for both corporations and partnerships. Methods of depreciation, tracking inventory, financing, and international accounting concepts will also be cove red. (Prerequisite: Accounting 1)

Microsoft Excel is an introductory, but comprehensive, course covering the following: creating and formatting spreadsheets, formulas and functions (basic and advanced), templates, charts, graphics, and data analysis.
This course teaches students the complete set of Microsoft Publisher skills needed to succeed. Learn to create flyers, brochures, newsletters, business cards and tables using all the Publisher tools.
Students will be introduced to the basic features of QuickBooks, an accounting software that automates the bookkeeping tasks performed by business owners and their employees.
For those wishing to learn to touch type, the easy-to-use, interactive software in the lab provides lessons that gradually introduce the keyboard, skill building activities to improve speed and accuracy, and timed writings to prepare students for certification.
